Over the past few years Australia’s wine producers have faced challenging trading conditions. As a way of supporting the smaller winemakers, Carmine’s ‘Contradiction’ range has been made using surplus juice from some of the top smaller winemakers in South Australia. It’s our way of supporting each other. Shiraz: This ‘approachable ‘easy drinking Shiraz from SA warmer climate regions (Primarily Riverland – Renmark). Midweight but full of aged aromatics & puckering mouthfeel with hints of “red terroir’ grainy tannis finish. Cabernet Sauvignon: This delightful easy drinking Cabernet, is blended from SA Riverland production (warmer climate areas). Mid-weight, slightly spicy, soft tannin finish.
