Description Aloe dorotheae, also known as Sunset Aloe, comes from the family Asphodelaceae and is native to Tanzania. With direct sunlight, their leaves will turn from bright green/yellow to a noticeable orange red. This Aloe plant should be kept in reach of sunlight with slight shade. Moreover, it should be given average water routinely, however, it naturally can withstand dry or drought like conditions. This Aloe species grows ideally growing two to three feet tall. Aloe dorotheae can withstand temperatures as low as 25 degrees to 50 degrees F.
